About

Phoenix-based musician Scott Harvester blends technical mastery with stylistic breadth. As a seasoned bassist, guitarist, and bandleader, Scott has spent years navigating everything from high-energy rock stages and nuanced jazz settings to professional theatrical productions.

While his portfolio covers a vast range of contemporary and classical genres, Scott’s true artistic passion lies in the authentic storytelling of American roots music. Under his well-known blues moniker, Lonesome Scott, he fronts Lonesome Scott and the Generic Blues Band. The band's debut album, Hop on Board the Blues Train, has earned dedicated international airplay across global blues radio programs and streaming networks.

Beyond his proficiency as a performer, Scott is a trusted leader off the frets. He brings extensive leadership experience to his collaborative roles as a music director and pit theater musician — making him a versatile, reliable anchor for any musical project.
